Your Role
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor in Payroll responsible for moderately complex activities relating to the maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger accounts, and the associated accounting reconciliations and presentations. Provides formal and informal coaching in "real time," assesses performance against metrics, delivers performance reviews and customizes goal and development plans for direct reports. Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal, Provincial, State and Local tax requirements for the US, PR, and Canada.

Your Impact
Manage timely and accurate completion of monthly account reconciliations and general ledger interfaces between Oracle Cloud HCM and SAP General Ledger
Manage and improve processes and controls to support accurate General Ledger balances
Attend and present monthly account reconciliations to Finance teams
Maintain SOX documentation for the payroll tax management process
Validate W-2, W-2PR, T4 and RL-1 totals between Oracle Cloud HCM and ADP/Equifax
Prepare responses to payroll tax inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities
Manage Quarter and Year end processing activities for the Payroll Tax Team
Prepare statutory, statistical, and analytical reports from Oracle Cloud HCM, ADP SmartCompliance and SAP systems
Ownership of the Payroll Tax testing for all Oracle Cloud HCM, Vertex and CIC Plus+ system and legislative updates
Lead projects and implementing company initiatives.
Partner with Corporate Tax, Finance, IT, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Compensation, HR, Legal and Internal Audit
Identify process/performance improvement opportunities and implement enhancements
Motivate and inspire the team to drive high performance

Minimum Salary: $82,500.00
Maximum Salary: $112,665.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Your Experience
Bachelors' degree in Accounting
CPA or MBA, a plus
3-5 years public accounting experience, a plus
Experience and understanding with the General Ledger including chart of accounts
2+ years' experience in supervising others, preferred
Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, ADP SmartCompliance, Blackline, and SAP Financials, preferred
Ability to make recommendations based on analysis and take the lead on implementing changes
Excel proficiency required, as well as functional knowledge of other Microsoft products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
