Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description Job Description This position may assist with monthly reporting, and will have a primary focus on forecasting, data management, and spearheading new projects that will enhance corporate value and advance the reporting capabilities and data used in making decisions. The Candidate should have/be:

At least 6 years of financial analysis or management accounting experience BA/BS degree in accounting or finance Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Strong systems background Experience with Budgeting and forecasting and financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, primarily in Excel Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results Accounting and general ledger experience, monthly close process Data management experience Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and outside vendors Able to work independently A self-started, take initiative type of person, ability to meet deadlines Detail oriented, good at preparing and reviewing financial reports Beneficial skills include: Access or other data base experience Cost analysis/Cost Accounting System implementation Sage DataRails or similar excel centric data base system Mining, Construction, or other heavy equipment background We offer a quality compensation commensurate with experience including comprehensive benefits package.
