Senior Financial Analyst, Aruba Partner

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join the HPE-Aruba finance team. Your role will be to support the global functions within the Aruba worldwide sales organization, including channels, training and enablement. You will be directly involved in coordination of the various planning cycles (annual planning, monthly forecasts and closes), providing variance analysis, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances, and partnering with Business leaders to adjust the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. You'll also work with your business partners to influence strategic decision making. You will have exposure and visibility to senior executives. Strict attention to detail and an ability to set and meet tight deadlines will be important for your success.


  • Partner with HPE-Aruba WW sales function leads

  • Consult with business leaders to guide and influence long- term and strategic decision-making.

  • Support monthly close and annual/quarterly/monthly budgeting and forecast cycles

  • Provide complex financial analysis for your business partners, exercising a unique understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives

  • Coordinate/lead global projects with the regional finance teams

  • Ad Hoc analysis

Education and Experience Required:

  • BS degree with a focus in business or economics; MBA is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience as a financial analyst, including significant experience in a business partnering role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

  • Excellent analytical skills and strong project management skills

  • Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

  • Superior communication and influencing skills.

  • Teamwork skills and ability to interact with various Business Units, Executives/Management and Channel Partners.
