Overview
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The financial analyst helps provide high quality support to other corporate departments and facilities to assist in their execution of departmental and company objectives through modelling, financial / operational analysis, and reporting
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue, cost, profitability and return on investment; prepare reports, presentations and projections based on this analysis
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting
Review of enterprise budgeting process and preparation of materials for executive and board review
Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual performance against budgets and forecasts
Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and business case development
Partner with senior management to evaluate new business opportunities, M&A, organic development and other capital investments
Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement financial performance improvement initiatives.
Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
Implement and optimize financial analysis tools and systems improved data analysis and decision making
Other adhoc projects as needed

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, Master's preferred.
5+ years of experience, preferably in a multi-location healthcare setting
Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
