Senior Financial Accountant

Job Description Job Description A long term established company serving the fashion/apparel industry with technology solutions worldwide is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team in its midtown headquarters office. The position reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and the person in this role will play a vital role in the intermediate accounting and financial reporting of the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with Month end close, booking journal entries and investigating variances. Prepare and own US balance sheet reconciliations and analysis Prepare the Consolidated PL and Forecasts along with supporting schedules and analysis Assist with the Monthly preparation & distribution of reporting to management/stakeholders Assist with preparation of Global budget along with supporting schedules Prepare weekly cash summary and forecasting Oversee commitment and legal log Support A/R & A/P functions as needed Ad Hoc Projects and Reporting as needed REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree Accounting.

Minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience. Netsuite Experience is preferred. Strong Excel Skills Accuracy and attention to detail Strong Oral & Written Skills Works well independently and in a team setting.
