Job Description

The Sr. Finance Manager, Decking will be the primary finance business partner to the Fiberon General Manager and lead all commercial related financial activities. This role also works closely with Operations Finance and other business partners to support overall strategy and P&L management for the Fiberon business. A strong background in business partnership, P&L management, data driven decision making, and team management is required. This role has 2 direct reports.

Position location: This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in one of our main offices located in Maumee, OH (preferred), Deerfield, IL, Oak Creek, WI, or North Olmsted, OH to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Partner with operations finance, center of excellence's (COE's) and sales leadership to drive value creation for FBIN; providing financial guidance, insights and support related to strategic and annual planning and forecasting activities.

  • Provide financial support to the decking commercial leadership team to drive profitable growth and help shape strategic priorities & initiatives.

  • Become a subject matter expert of the decking/railing categories and develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.

  • Establish and report on KPI's to Fiberon General Manager and leadership team to drive value creation.

  • Work closely with the General Manager while partnering with finance operations, category management, and RGM to drive overall Fiberon profitability.

  • Support departmental budget tracking and analysis for Fiberon. This includes updating forecasts on a regular cadence and working cross functionally to meet company goals.

  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations to summarize financial results & actions to drive performance.

  • Partner with sales, RGM and channel teams to evaluate business proposals including terms, price, promotions, and new distribution/dealer opportunities.

  • Support and oversee annual customer contract negotiations/renewals to ensure financial viability.

  • Help support the month-end close process including net sales variance analysis, accrual reviews, and sales period cost analysis.

  • Leads a team (2) and develops finance talent by providing work direction, timely feedback, annual performance assessments, coaching, mentoring and career development planning and opportunities.
