This is a hands-on finance manager position supporting the company's all US Business Unit. We are looking for an individual who is not only has in-depth accounting/finance experience but also is passionate about growing business and improving profitability for the company. This position will be a business partner to the US General Manager and the rest of the management team. In addition to managing day-to-day accounting and finance functions, this person will focus on building infrastructure including accounting and operational procedures and improving forecasting and financial analysis capability. Detail responsibilities include:
Manage AP, AR, Payroll, GL, Cash and financial reporting functions.
Lead and supervise month-end closing process - accruals, depreciation, intercompany transactions, inventory, facility and other adjusting entries.
Reconcile major balance sheet accounts and perform flux analysis for both P&L and BS.
Prepare financial statements.
Prepare month-end close package.
In charge of BU's budget/forecast processes. Working with GM and team to establish budget/forecast and to create accountability within the BU.
Conduct timely financial analysis to provide feedback to operational team to improve BU's performance.
Present monthly financial results and highlight opportunities for financial and operational improvements in the management meeting.
Report and track daily cash balance. Prepare 12-week cash rolling forecast.
Establish processes to analyze AP and AR aging and optimize collections and payment efforts to maximize working capital. Publish daily AR status reports and conduct collections weekly reviews.
Develop/improve accounting policies and procedures including "procure to pay", "quote to collect", inventory, fixed assets and expenses.etc..
Assist GM to review operating processes to identify and remediate operational deficiencies.
Conduct financial process review to ensure all assets are safeguarded and financial statements are fairly stated.
BS in Accounting or Finance.
7 to 10 years hands on accounting and finance experience. At least 3-year management experience.
Detail oriented and able to work independently.
Strong business acumen and has experience working as business partner with business/operational team a must.
Excellent Excel and system skills. Oracle experience a plus.
Team player with excellent communication skills in both written and speaking. Able to speak Chinese required.
