Your Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Asset Management Consultant will provide expert level business process guidance on our clients ERP's SAP requirements and design. You'll perform analytic work in support of systems engineering or planning activities including the development of preliminary and detailed functional analysis required for ERP systems. You'll be a subject matter functional expertise provided includes areas such as inventory management supply provisioning maintenance transportation personnel financial management and administration. You'll also introduce innovative approaches and methodologies for processes and support systems. May provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel.

This position is located in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the National Agency Check with Local Agency and Credit Checks (NACLC) clearance.

  • 10+ years of SAP experience.

  • 7+ years Navy ERP (SAP) experience within the past 10 years.

  • Expert knowledge and experience with Navy ERP and U.S. Federal financial management processes.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) Sales and Distribution experience with SAP billing and reimbursable funding, Resource Related Billing (RRB), Budgetary Ledger and USSGL posting logic, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Direct Cite, General Fund & Working Capital Fund.

  • Knowledge and experience with multiple month-end closings for federal agencies.

  • Experience with a minimum of 2 -3 Federal year-end closes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Active National Agency Check with Local Agency and Credit Checks (NACLC) clearance.

  • Shall have knowledge and/or experience of Navy ERP in the following areas:

  • Sustainment resource planning or work planning, and release scheduling activities supporting all of the following: system change requests, defects, customer reported incidents, system upgrades, system performance tuning and role updates and changes

  • Application of functional and technical expertise to improve the performance of the business; resolution of functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules.

  • Development and configuration of various SAP modules, including but not limited to the following: Funds Management, Workforce Management, Asset Management, Controlling, Finance, Grants, Project Systems, Sales Distribution, etc.

  • SAP Technical and/or Functional upgrade efforts.
