Senior Finance Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the Digital Technology and Innovation (DTI) organization in managing the non-labor expense budget.

In this role, you will:

• Accurately forecast/budget the DTI non-labor expense

• Support key management reporting processes including month end close, forecasting, and planning

• Lead monthly vendor reviews with Technology line of business partners and CFO team

• Provide financial guidance/consultation related to vendor contracts

• Continue to improve reporting and vendor processes that meets brand standard and internal control standards

• Collaborate and consult with Sourcing, Technology, CFO and Central Technology finance teams to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required:

• 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• A BS/BA degree or higher

• Relevant employment experience in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Economics

• Relevant employment experience in financial services / banking industry

• Strong technical skills including reporting databases and Microsoft Office (and specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau)

• Experience with controls compliance and documentation

• General forecasting and accounting knowledge

• Experience with Essbase

Soft Skills:

• Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to prepare and present analysis and recommendations

• Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management

• Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing and fostering strong partnerships

• Sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement

• Ability to influence and partner with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
