Senior Finance Analyst

Job Description Job Description Financial Analyst | Hybrid - Batavia | $90k - $100k Bonus We are excited to offer a Financial Analyst position. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial reports, performing cost analyses, developing financial models, and providing financial forecasts.

You will assist in the budget process, interpret various financial data, guide cost control, and collaborate with management and the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial reports, comparing actual results to budgeted/forecasted figures, calculating variances, and explaining the causes to management. Perform cost analyses and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis, and drive process improvements. Provide financial forecasts and recommend optimization actions to management. Assist in the budget process.

Interpret data on price, yield, stability, investment-risk trends, economic influences, and other factors affecting investment programs. Guide the cost controlling process and collaborate with management to enforce policies and procedures. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis and general or cost accounting.

Experience in consolidation and intercompany accounting.

Experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems, with a willingness to learn new systems.

Proficient in MS Office Suite, with strong expertise in Excel formulas and functions. Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively; self-motivated and disciplined.
