Position Overview
Navistar is hiring a Senior Field Test Associate to join our team at our Field Test site in Commerce City, Colorado near Denver.
The Senior Field Test Associate performs field test and administrative support activities. Conducts field tests that cover a wide range of vehicle specifications, environmental factors and customer test cycles. Maintains adequate records and systems. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues.
Real world vehicle testing is based out of this facility and key responsibilities would include coordinating driver operations and support to maintain a high percentage of uptime. This is key for our internal customer testing in a variety of environment and geographical conditions.
Responsibilities
Test driving and driver training
Perform driver dispatching across multiple shifts
Define vehicle test routes for multiple states
Perform driver interviews and onboarding tasks
Create driver work order instructions
Review and approve driver work orders
Support multiple locations for hot and cold weather testing
Provide status updates to test teams and leadership
Coordinate with operations teams and drivers for cross country vehicle moves
Maintains adequate records and systems. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues
Minimum Requirements
Associate's degree
At least 6 years of field test or field service experience
OR
Additional Requirements
Desired Skills
Strong communication skills
Proficient at multitasking
Strong knowledge of Maintenance Connection and MC Express
Class A - Commercial Drivers License
Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Teams
Heavy Haul and Over the Road (OTR) experience
Benefits and Compensation
Navistar provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $70 - 95K a year and is eligible for overtime pay.
