What will you contribute?

Working as part of the Americas Regional Enterprise Marketing Team and reporting to the Americas Regional Marketing Director, this role is a key interface to the sales and customer facing organization. In your role as Senior Field Marketing Specialist, your primary objective will be to generate marketing qualified leads (MQLs) that aggressively build and influence the sales pipeline and meet established KPIs in line with the Finastra business plan.

The remit of your role will encompass strategic planning, identifying and analyzing customer demand, and executing regional-specific marketing programs. A primary objective of your role will be to develop the annual marketing plan with a focus on demand generation and nurture campaigns. These initiatives include traditional, digital, and partner marketing tactics based on identified go-to-market solutions, targeted accounts and personas.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

As a Senior Field Marketing Specialist, your deliverables will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and manage an annual marketing plan to meet the regional revenue goals

  • Partner with key stakeholders including solution marketing, sales, inside sales, and partners to implement strategic marketing campaigns based on identified go-to-market solutions, targeted accounts, and business objectives

  • Build an appropriate mix of integrated campaign tactics, including events, roundtables, email, webinars, social media, and digital marketing to deliver the campaign goals within budget

  • In collaboration with the regional partner marketing, define and execute joint demand generation programs

  • Drive strategic account-based marketing programs to increase the share of wallet within our major accounts and accelerate upsell and cross-sell opportunities

  • Own/collaborate on, the delivery of the company flagship event "Finastra Universe"

  • Report on KPIs, track results, manage the lead qualification and handover process to Inside Sales

  • Work with the Public Relations team to position Finastra favorably to key press and analysts

  • Work with vendors to help orchestrate event planning and execution

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience

  • Strong track record of B2B field marketing and demand generation (especially lead generation and nurturing, marketing campaign execution and measurement)

  • Market research analytics, strategic planning, campaign development, budget management, events, email and nurturing, digital, and social media

  • Hands-on experience and proficiency with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo

  • Salesforce and NetSuite experience

  • Technology-savvy, with keen interest in emerging technologies and 'all things digital, including marketing automation, lead management strategies (lead scoring, lead nurturing, etc.), CRM systems and sales processes

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field

  • Detailed oriented with superb written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • B2B Software and/or Financial Services technologies (Fintech)
  • Account Based Marketing

Role Summary This position is responsible for helping enable our new org agents (those within their first 3 years with the company) to become effective marketers.
