The Role

Megaport, a global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS) solutions, is actively seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Field Marketing Manager to join our expanding team in North America. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Marketing, this pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive regional marketing strategies in alignment with our global business objectives. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Regional Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive field marketing strategies aligned with overall company goals and objectives for the Americas.

  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to ensure consistency and integration of regional and global marketing initiatives.

  • Demand Generation:

  • Create and implement targeted campaigns to generate awareness, interest, and demand within the North and South American markets.

  • Utilize a mix of online and offline channels to maximize lead generation and drive revenue outcomes.

  • Event Support & Management:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, including industry conferences, trade shows, and regional events.

  • Work with our Events coordinator to manage event logistics, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience.

  • Partnership and Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key industry partners, associations, and influencers to amplify Megaport's presence in the region.

  • Collaborate with partner ecosystem of data center operators, agents and resellers to jointly execute partner programs and co-marketing initiatives.

  • Work in tandem with the Americas sales leadership to ensure marketing initiatives meet pipeline requirements; drive sales engagement and support.

  • Content Development:

  • Create compelling and region-specific marketing collateral, including presentations, case studies, and whitepapers.

  • Ensuring content resonates with the target audience and supports lead generation and revenue generation efforts.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools, including Marketo and Salesforce, to measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Use your reporting insights to improve your performance over time, and share key lessons with the wider team.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B field marketing, with a focus on the technology or telecommunications industry.

  • A degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Proven success in developing and executing successful regional marketing strategies, with the ability to demonstrate how success was measured and increased

  • Hands on experience with the following tools is required:

  • Marketo, Salesforce CRM, HTML/CSS for web and email.

  • Hands on experience with the following tools would be highly regarded:

  • Netlify/Hugo/Static Website Generators, Zapier/Make/N8N, Rudderstack/Segment, Webhooks and APIs.

  • Be detail oriented

  • Ability to think creatively and come up with new ideas that are fresh and interesting.

  • Ability to think critically and translate your ideas into actionable plans that align with business objectives.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with globally distributed cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

$145,000 - $160,000 a year

Please note that as per the Fair Labor Standard Act this role is classified as exempt under Administrative exemption
