Summary: Responsible for directing the Facilities team to include Maintenance, Health and Safety, and Janitorial in accordance with organizational needs. Proactively lead and coach team in an environment governed by industry best practices, driving for excellence

Education/Experience:

Bachelor Degree and eight years of experience required; or in lieu of degree, High school diploma or GED and ten years facilities experience working in a corporate environment required; five years construction experience required; three years supervisory experience leading a team required.

Certificates and Licenses:

Certified Facility Manager Certification (IFMA) preferred
30 hour OSHA certification preferred

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages overall operations of maintenance of all building's equipment and systems across the portfolio, including repairs and prevention.

  • Service contracts

  • Utility accounts

  • Critical systems

  • Maintain vendor relationships

  • Have a working knowledge of building codes and standards.

  • Manage health and safety team and respective duties.

  • Fire Life Safety (FLS) programs

  • MIOSHA

  • Business Continuity Disaster Recovery (BCDR)

  • Insurance and accreditation audits

  • Assists with managing annual operations and capital budgets.

  • Assists with capital approved construction projects across the portfolio.

  • Develop and maintain facility specific policies and procedures that are both current and compliant with internal and external sources.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in the Maintenance, Health and Safety, and Janitorial departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Travel Requirement: Up to 50%

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math while analyzing data and generating reports.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.

Description Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: * Running Day to Day Warehouse floor operations * Inventory control/management utilizing customer warehouse management systems * Safe Work environment utilizing tools provided by GM and Aramark * Update customer's on outgoing inventory * Run and build scrap processes to maintain lean outlook * Implement and maintain inventory and material management strategies by regular review of inventory parameter * Scheduling and communicating customer trucking needs on a daily basis * Helped Process daily paperwork; updating Warehouse Management system * Running daily activity reports and putting together shipments * Conduct root cause analysis for shipping/storage issues and define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence * Participate in regular business and performance reviews with customer * Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence * Ensuring plant operations are in line with customer needs * Report all needed facility maintenance * Keep updated and well-maintained facility records * Manage Preventive/Corrective maintenance program * Oversee all contractors onsite at all times (pre-task setup and roll outs) * Report to GM Leadership Team daily * Manage and maintain safety records Qualifications Required Qualifications * Computer Skills: Must have advanced Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint) * High level of organization skills and customer service * Strong knowledge of Logistics systems * Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or Higher Aramark Corporation Flint MI
