Lee Memphis, Tennessee 38103 United States Posting Date: 2021-07-23 Job Posting End Date: 2021-07-31 Responsible for providing technical assistance and vendor support activities related to facility management, maintenance, safety, and security of two or more FTN leased and owned properties. Evaluates service requests to determine whether the work should be performed in-house or by an outside vendor.
Performs minor or routine construction repairs, painting, plumbing work, hvac repairs and installation of equipment, fixtures, and repairs interior wall surfaces and furniture. Schedules and ensures preventative maintenance is performed on all property related equipment, systems, facilities, and vehicles. Engages vendors to resolve facility-related problems including, but not limited to large hvac maintenance/repairs, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, lawn and grounds maintenance, elevator maintenance, snow removal, painting, and building cleaning in a timely fashion.
Schedules and supervises facilities improvement and employee internal moves by coordinating with relevant departments, and relevant vendors. Ensures vendors conform to established specifications, blueprints, and schedules. Maintains security programs, as outlined by the md security.
Understands and has knowledge of government regulations and insurance company programs. Schedules and evaluates emergency evacuation drills and communications in conjunction with the manager. Maintains and monitors security card access system and video security system.
Ensures budgeted project spending limits are maintained; proactively monitors quarterly facilities costs and communicates issues and problems to manager. Plans, schedules, and supervises after-hours tasks of vendors, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Proactively communicates/posts facility policies related to parking and security to employees, vendors, and visitors.
Compiles data for preparing proposals to include, but not limited to, vendor estimates, quotations, space allocation, traffic flow and construction. Communicates service contract deficiencies to management and recommends alternatives. Transports and/or retrieves records to/from an off-site storage managed facility, or secure warehouse, as needed.
High school diploma/GED. Associate's degree preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of facilities project management, property management, and maintenance coordination experience in a large, diverse corporate environment.
Knowledge of building management principles and operations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, osha regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, facilities related technical journals and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
The ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Hvac license preferred.
Computer skills in word processing, supply/inventory software preferred.
