PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Under general direction, the Sr. Executive Compensation Analyst will coordinate activities and governance for executive compensation programs and processes. This includes coordination and preparation of meeting materials for the Executive Compensation and Management Development Committee (ECMDC) of the company's Board of Directors. Facilitate annual bonus and long-term incentive award budgeting, allocation and approval processes. This role will collaborate closely with global partners, including leaders within Human Resources, Legal, and Finance and other senior management partners to ensure documentary and process compliance for our executive compensation programs.
Board Compensation Committee Coordination: Lead the development and coordination with all stakeholders for board compensation committee meeting materials. Includes drafting materials and coordination with the board's external compensation consultant, finance and legal partners.
Bonus and LTI Plans: Coordinate activities for bonus and long-term incentive program design (including global non-qualified stock-based plans), budgeting and planning processes, pool estimates and allocation processes.
Executive Compensation: Conduct executive benchmarking, research market best practices, and manage executive compensation survey completion and submission processes for executive roles. Consult on executive offers and coordinate communication processes for prospective and current equity participants.
Disclosure and Reporting: Assist with the completion of ongoing executive compensation disclosures, including the CD&A of the proxy. May also support global compensation or compliance resources to ensure timely disclosures and/or presentations to subsidiary boards as a part of our annual global governance processes.
Governance: In partnership with colleagues in compensation and HR, this role will be responsible for plan review, documentation and pool management for year-end compensation approval processes. Coordinate also with finance and legal to monitor applicable SEC, accounting and tax regulations to ensure executive compensation plan design compliance and optimization.
College degree and 4 years of related work experience, or
Associate degree and 6 years related work experience, or
High School diploma/equivalent and 8 years related work experience
3-5 years of experience in executive compensation and/or related financial analysis and administration
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and well under pressure in a collaborative environment
Ability to comprehend complex legal documentation and financial presentations, and to summarize for audiences at multiple levels
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent Excel skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing demands
Commitment to excellence in service and client relationship management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred
Asset management or related financial services industry experience
Working knowledge of securities, accounting and tax implications for stock-based and/or deferred compensation plans
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) Certification
