Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Senior Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the board of directors and Senior Management Team; and oversees special projects. The Senior Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a dynamic environment. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, high attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Complex scheduling and calendar management for the CEO including the ability to balance priorities. 
  • Event Management – plan internal and external events and offsites.
  • Arrange travel for the CEO and other executives.  Prepare expense reports. 
  • Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, board meetings, and organizations that the executive is involved with. 
  • Conserve the CEO’s time by reading, researching, collecting, and analyzing information as needed, in advance. 
  • Represent the company and the CEO in a positive light through great follow-through skills, attention to detail, prioritization, communication and sound judgment.
  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion. 
  • Excellent communication and time management prioritization
  • Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, with contact outside normal business hours.
  • Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
  • Being a proactive team member by anticipating needs of CEO and business
  • Preparation of meetings with Board of Directors, including and not limited to Quarterly Earnings, Governance, and Strategic Direction for the company. 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
  • Business sense - has a strong business sense and can decipher priorities and make sound judgment calls when needed.
  • Commitment to excellence - perform duties at the highest level possible on a consistent basis.
  • Team player - have team-oriented experience and approach.
  • Service focus - dedicated to meeting the expectations of the CEO and other senior executives by maintaining effective relationships with interested parties.
  • Ability to think outside of the box with a sense of urgency.
