Overview:

As a Senior Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of assigned events hosted at our hotel, ensuring impeccable execution and client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of leadership, organizational competence, and exceptional customer service skills to deliver memorable experiences for our guests. This role reports directly to our Director of Catering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Manage the planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout the planning and execution phases.

• Internal Relationship Management: Frequent and often communication with the Director of Banquet and Executive Chef to ensure client requests are met and executed to liking.

• Budget Oversight: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met through cost-effective planning and resource allocation.

• Logistics Planning: Coordinate logistical aspects such as room setups, audiovisual requirements, transportation, and accommodation arrangements for guests and participants as needed.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction by conducting regular inspections and evaluations of event spaces and services.

• Event Marketing: Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to promote events through various channels to maximize hotel exposure and increase attendance and client engagement.

• Compliance and Safety: Ensure events comply with all legal, health, and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests, staff, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale events.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer-oriented approach to handling client needs and concerns.

• Proficiency in event management software; preferred experience in CI/TY

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; additional certifications in event planning or project management are advantageous.

Availability:

• Must be available to work days and weekends, as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000; negotiable

Bonus: Event/Catering Incentive Included on Monthly Basis
