Job Summary:
This position provides advanced level programming, integration, reporting, and application support for the Ellucian Colleague ERP/SIS and associated systems and technologies. This position has the opportunity to be fully remote.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Develop and implement Colleague User Interface (UI) forms, batch processes, reports, subroutines, rules, computed columns, etc. using Ellucian' Colleague Studio and Envision
Assist with Colleague security classes, AROR roles, identity management processes, group management, etc.
Collaborate with application users, ERP team members, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, implement new features and functionality, and enhance processes
Assist with evaluating, organizing, testing, installing, and documenting Ellucian Colleague patches.
Identify opportunities to streamline current processes, deploy product enhancements, and proactively locate and resolve system data integrity issues.
Ensure departments are fully utilizing out of the box functionality and assist with de-customization as necessary.
Develop and maintain detailed written technical specifications for developed solutions.
Participate in departmental code reviews, code evaluation, and change management processes.
Maintain updated knowledge by attending training, conferences, and staying up to date on technical documentation and bulletins.
Assist with third party data integrations utilizing a variety of methods including Envision/SQL/reporting flat files, Ellucian Ethos, and vendor APIs.
Provide SQL support including assisting with T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, etc.
Ensure that all programming, data exchanges, integrations, etc. are secure and in compliance with best practices and university data security standards.
Special Job Dimensions:
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend work required.

Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 5 years of experience programming within and administering the Ellucian Colleague ERP/SIS platform
Advanced level knowledge/experience with Colleague Studio, Envision, subroutines, computed columns, etc.
Experience working with end users to set up, configure, and troubleshoot functionality in a wide variety of Ellucian Colleague modules and products
Advanced skillset working with MSSQL queries, views, stored procedures, etc.
Understanding of higher education business processes
Understanding of data security best practices
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
The ability to work with application end users of various technical skill levels to troubleshoot and resolve issues, deploy new features and functionality, and improve business processes
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of diverse backgrounds at a variety of administrative levels
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Colleague ERP SaaS platform or SaaS components including Ellucian Ethos, Experience, and Analytics
Strong knowledge of web development technologies such as web API, JavaScript, HTML, XSL/XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
Understanding of a wide variety of encryption technologies used to secure and transmit data.
Experience with REST APIs
Physical Demands
Typing/Keyboarding: Proficiency in typing and using a computer keyboard for extended periods.
Speaking: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Reaching: Ability to reach for items on shelves or in cabinets.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment, handle files, and perform other tasks.
