What is the position? Evercore ISI seeks to hire a Senior Research Associate for its Payment, Processors & IT Services equity research team located in New York, NY.

Primary Responsibilities:Ideal candidate will be proactive, high energy and able to work effectively within a highly productive team. Candidate should possess excellent excel skills, knowledge of finance and accounting and superior writing skills. A strong work ethic with the ability to learn quickly is essential. Candidates with a superior background in finance & accounting are encouraged to apply. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and update financial models efficiently

  • Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies

  • Execute proprietary research projects that generate impactful stock calls

  • Assist with client requests & inquiries

  • Idea generation

  • Maintain databases and create tables and charts

  • Participate in company management calls and conferences

  • Track relevant news articles relaying important messages to team

  • Closely follow industry and economic data

Specific Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of Equity research experience

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); the job entails significant writing responsibilities

  • Background in finance and accounting

  • Strong modeling / excel capabilities

  • Superior writing skills

  • Interest in stocks

  • Initiative, drive and motivation to learn

  • Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish broader goals and objectives

  • Capable of handling multiple responsibilities

  • Ability to meet deadlines

Our Corporate Access team provides a full suite of consultative and logistics services to bring institutional investors and corporate clients together to deliver a seamless client experience. This role requires the coordination and execution of Analyst and Corporate marketing events, as well as the opportunity to work with local institutional Equity Sales Teams to provide operational support. We have an immediate opening for a Corporate Access Coordinator to join our team. This role will require working out of our headquarters in Los Angeles. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Manage, the coordination of all equity capital market events from conceptualization to execution, including: multi-day conference, networking functions, non-deal roadshows (NDR's), company bus tours, advisor lunches, advisor dinners, advisor calls, and analyst marketing trip * Coordinate event logistics for all events including invitations, event manager setup, car service, food orders, audio visual, vendors for catering, and venue staff * Foster and manage relationships with C-level management team and sponsors * Manage internal communication and coordination with Wedbush Analysts, Investment Banking and Sales/Traders, Accounts Payable, and other departments for all events * Coordinate venue contracts for large events, assist with on-site event support, manage temps and interns for events * Negotiate third-party vendor contracts, analyze cost options, and conduct venue diligence * Manage all event metrics including tracking, budgeting and post- event follow up * Manage CRM database and online conference website, meetmax.com for all events * Submit invoices and check requests for venues and advisor speakers to Accounts Payable for payment * Monitor compliance approvals for invitations/advisor speakers * Create marketing materials, including concept development and art direction, for all events; distribute marketing information to various internal departments * Perform other duties as required and assigned Experience and Skills * BA/BS required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field * 3-5 years experience in event coordination required, preferably in Corporate Access * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Ability to perform under pressure, meet time sensitive deadlines, prioritize and multi-task in a fast pace working environment * Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization * Self-starter with ability to work independently * Limited travel required * Strong collaboration and team building skills * Strong work ethic and attention to detail * Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Wedbush Morgan Securities New York NY
