Equity Research Senior Analyst
In this position you will provide primary equity research coverage in the Industrials sector. Primary responsibilities include both managing and conducting the fundamental equity research process for the purpose of providing differentiated industry and stock-specific content, including building and maintaining financial estimates and stock recommendations for our institutional investor client base. Critical to the role will be communicating research findings to both internal stakeholders and our external client base via consistent dialogue and live meetings. The Senior Analyst will need to build strong relationships not only with Equity Research colleagues, but also with Equity Sales, Cash Trading, Derivatives, Wealth Management, and others.
This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles: in the capital markets industry
Knowledge and understanding of Investment tools such as Bloomberg or Factset application
An active Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
