Responsibilities

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Senior Environmental Services Tech performs a variety of cleaning tasks necessary to maintain and improve the appearance and sanitary condition of all campuses and participates in quality control and staff development.

This position is represented by SEIU, Local 399 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. KEY WORDS: ENVIRONMENTAL, EVS, HOSPITAL, HEALTHCAREQualifications

REQUIREMENTS: High school education or equivalent and five (5) years acute healthcare experience as an EVS Tech at St. John's Regional Medical Center or Pleasant Valley Hospital with no disciplinary action for previous 12 months and exemplary evaluation at 3.2 or above in prior evaluation.

Responsibilities In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, performs all diagnostic radiology procedures and specialty procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * Must have a minimum of three years experience as a staff technologist, one (1) year experience in one specialty field. * Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles, protocols, techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty. * Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the general patient population. * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. * Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. * Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. * Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently. * ARRT and CRT certification required. * Must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialty. * CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required. * ARRT certification in Mammography, Computed Tomography, Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI required. * CPR required.
