Job Description Job Description Position Summary: Lead clients and consulting teams through project life cycle from proposal phase through delivery and close-out.

Perform and manage projects and lead personnel as part of a multi-disciplinary environmental consulting team with emphasis on unique challenges of the coastal zone and associated sensitive habitats, environmental policy, permitting, and design challenges in a changing climate. Perform project management, provide technical leadership in respective area(s) of expertise, and work effectively with coastal scientists, planners, modelers, and engineers. Duties and Responsibilities:

Project management and leadership tasks to ensure quality, timely, and on-budget project deliverables for projects involving the planning, design, permitting, and construction oversight for the following types of projects: Dredging and dredged material disposal/management Shore protection including hard, soft, and nature-based solutions Wetland habitat restoration Climate change planning and coastal resilience Environmental permitting and impact assessment Energy production and transmission Technical consulting tasks for individual area(s) of expertise QA/QC reviews to ensure quality deliverables and project goals are addressed Report writing and presentations Project administration (e.g., planning, scheduling, invoicing) Internal and external communication New business development, proposals, networking, and marketing of team capabilities Facilitate inter-office/team cooperation Supervisory Responsibilities: TBD, though will likely involve supervising team members Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or related field (Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred; coastal/marine experience ideal) 8 years of related experience Collaborative team approach Hard-working, detail-oriented, proactive self-starter Commitment to innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and highest quality Ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects / teams Proficient with computer skills Excellent written, verbal communication, and public speaking skills Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
