Responsibilities

  • Provides concept designs and scenic elements through various visual tools, including the use of art, illustration, architecture, drawings, sketches, storyboards, 2D and 3D design tools. Understands the unique offerings and goals of our clients, their competitors and the target audience in order to develop effective design solutions.

    Collaborates with the creative team, internal account teams and clients to concept and develop designs for events and exhibitions. Takes direction from Project Creative Director. Takes work from concept to development by working digitally in 3-D models, sketching and drawing in the traditional manner on paper, or through non-traditional applications.

    Interface with clients, account executives, estimating, production, internal personnel, and vendors to deliver each communication package within the agreed upon budget and timeline. Design in a range of visual styles as appropriate for different clients and mediums. Familiar with working within design templates and brand standards.

    Seek out new products and maintain cutting edge industry knowledge relative to 3D design, fabrication techniques, interactive programming, and experiential opportunities. Maintain quality check on all elements of the design from concept to production.

Qualifications

  • Strong design portfolio that represents design presentation skills related to the face-to-face marketing industry. Solid understanding of creative process from conception through production. 5+ years of industry design experience or in a related field.

    Excellent problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Expertise in 3DS Max, Microsoft Office and the current versions of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

    Knowledge of AutoCAD would be a plus. College degree in design related field preferred.

Skills/Competencies: Possess a passion for design Excellent communication, creativity, problem solving and strategic thinking skills.

Ability to work collectively with other creative minds with proven experience in managing team based projects and initiatives in small and large projects from inception to project closeout. Ability to create solutions for various project scenarios. Ability to operate under time constraints.

Excellent follow-up methodology. Ability to multi-task and work well in a high-level, high-profile environment. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong time management/prioritization skills.
