Job Description

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Leads the creation and/or evolution of the enterprise architecture function/program:

• Balances the pursuit of business, information, technical, and solution architectures.

• Develops enterprise architecture governance structure based on business and IT strategies.

• Leads the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to develop enterprise architecture requirements.

• Presents the business case and secures approval for Information Technology Initiatives. Monitors allocation of approved resources.

• Analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines potential impact upon the enterprise.

• Oversees enterprise architecture implementation, ongoing refinement activities, and the development and execution of communication plans (including training) for enterprise architecture standards.

• Acts as a consultant to IT and business leaders in the development of IT solution for business needs.

• May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Field of Study: Computer Science or a related discipline.

Experience: Generally, 10 or more years of related experience, including architecture design and deployment, system lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations. 3 years of experience in leading multiple, large, cross-functional teams.
