As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for test automation activities that ensure the best quality outcome and project delivery in a timely manner. To be successful in this position, you will have strong technical and coding skills and work well within a highly dynamic and analytical environment. You will be an enthusiastic self-starter who can think outside the box and possess the mental agility to make an impact within your role quickly. Develop test automation frameworks and test case code used for testing and driving quality of the Digital Software Product Development products
Meet testing project deadlines in collaboration with the Global team
Propose, define and implement processes and standards for improved test automation in line with Continuous Integration for a DevOps pipeline delivery model
Develop and execute tests for products and related components
Lead collaborative design reviews and perform test code inspections leading to optimizations for optimal test automation execution
Constantly look for ways to improve the existing products to make them more reliable
Perform testing and other duties as required including test automation maintenance
Build collaborative relationships within teams and across the business to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
Maintain technical skills and awareness of improvements in the software test automation and tooling space within the industry
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned that support the team goals
Let's talk about you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience mentoring junior staff on framework architecture
8+ years of experience in software test automation or application development
Experience in implementing Quality Engineering processes and test automation framework for applications using micro-services architecture
Experience with tools and applications like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Artifactory
Understanding of Product Development Life Cycle, including Agile SCRUM
Experience in testing multi-threaded applications and fluent in the concepts of threads, processes, concurrency, and locking scenarios
Experience in open-source test frameworks and automated in a variety of programming languages such as Java, Ruby, JavaScript or Python
Detailed knowledge and experience in software testing methodologies
Experience implementing web services or remote APIs such as REST or SOAP
Preferred
Experience working in a development environment in either a commercial regulatory or medical device industry
Specific experience with Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, Rest Assured, Appium, XCUITest or UIAutomator
Demonstrated understanding in working with Database systems such as MS SQL Server and Mongo DB

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.
Base Pay Range for this position:
$134,000 - $202,000
