As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will perform a variety of manufacturing maintenance tasks in support of producing high quality medical diagnostic products, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple work centers and gain new skills that can help you advance in your career. You will operate under 5S & Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO standards, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.

In This Role
You will troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical systems including vision guided robots, servo motors, pneumatic pick and place, precision liquid dispensing, ultrasonic welding, and cam/indexer driven equipment
You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, managed through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
When working to solve problems you will use root cause analysis, and recommend corrective action
You will analyze and compile engineering data to draw conclusions
Your day-to-day activities will include working with engineering and production support to ensure the safe, efficient, and productive operation of the manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Promote a safe work environment.
What You Will Need to Succeed
5+ years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
You have strong communication skills, both verbally and written
You have a solid technical aptitude with a background in automation and experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and process improvement
You can disassemble and re-assemble complex mechanical systems
You're a self-starter with strong analytical skills and experience working within a team, as well as individually.
Your skillset includes experience in troubleshooting AC and DC electrical systems, as well as experience with motion control, motors, pneumatics, sensors, and PLC's (Allen Bradley)
