The Rambus - Cryptography Products Group is hiring a Senior Program Manager with deep expertise in embedded systems to join our PMO team in San Francisco.
Our Secure Cores product family is a series of semiconductor IP cores for chips. At the most basic level, the cores are designed to secure semiconductors and their contents. The product family starts with standard cryptographic accelerator and side-channel (DPA)-resistant IP cores & software libraries, which allow semiconductor designers easy-to-integrate support for secure processes on their devices. The family expands to a hardware root of trust security co-processor (CMRT), which allows CPUs to safely offload all secure processes to the secure enclave.
Our Secure Provisioning products enable OEMs to securely provision cryptographic keys and other sensitive information to secure areas of chips (CMRT, for one) during the chip or device manufacturing cycle. Additionally, our key management service enables semiconductor and brand OEMs to secure access and authenticate chips in the field, enabling a series of post-manufacturing functionality and revenue opportunities.
You will be working with a small team of architects, SW and HW developers to coordinate research activities leading into product developments and the building of side-channel (Differential Power Analysis, DPA) resistant products for customers to integrate within their products to resist hostile attempts to break the embedded encryption.
Your activities will include the facilitation and management of internal weekly meetings and reviews with team members in Europe, India and the US. Some international travel may be required.
Working with marketing and engineering you will drive the creation of MRD, PRD, MSP documents, facilitate a PLC Planning Review for approval, and manage the team to execute the documented and approved plan.
All our projects are supported with a detailed resource plan, resource allocations from managers, and resource actuals from team members. You own the creation of the resource plan and will work with resource managers to allocate the required resources to work on your program. You will track the actual hours reported by team members and use this data along with defined milestones and deliverables to report the Earned Value of the project to finance once a quarter.
