As such, typicallyaround 60% of time working remotely is available for individualswho wish to take advantage of this.Description of Project/Role and Main ResponsibilitiesA Senior Flexible Pipe Engineer is required to support Eni’sworldwide offshore deepwater projects. They will be part of the Eniproject engineering group based in Basingstoke (UK) and willsupport all the engineering activities related to unbonded flexiblepipe activities in the different phases of the project, from feasibilityto Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for the several newupcoming or ongoing initiatives with Eni group.The main responsibilities and functions of the role will be, but notlimited to:
 Preparing all the technical documentation related tounbonded flexible pipes during the different phases of theProject, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender andContract package and preparation.
 Follow-up large EPCI contracts for Offshore Projects forunbonded flexible pipe systems during tender and execution.
 Ensure that the design of unbonded flexible pipe systemsmeet Project requirements, applicable codes and standards,and engineering best practices.
 Follow up supplier call for tender & selection (qualifications,clarifications, recommendations, etc.)
 Review and approve FEED, tender and Detailed Engineeringperformed by Contractors.
 Act as Company Representative for all the activities relatedto unbonded flexible pipe systems fabrication and testingactivities.
 Act as Company Representative during offshore flexible pipeinstallation onboard installation vessel.
 Work and collaborate with other colleagues in the SubseaSystems department, as well as other disciplines.
 Be aware of design standard requirements for unbondedflexible pipe and correctly apply the internal Companystandards HSEQ policies.Qualifications, professional experienceEssential skills/experience required:
 Experience in the technical design of unbonded flexibleflowlines & risers and associated ancillaries from preliminaryengineering through detailed design, with knowledge of themain topsides, subsea and installation interfaces.
 Experience with Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP,HAZID’s, Risk Assessment.
 Experience of supervising Contractors and Vendorsequipment and deliverables.
 Experience in being able to support Projects onshore andoffshore testing – FAT, SIT and pre-commissioning/installation/ commissioning activities.
 Be familiar with the relevant international codes and subseastandards for Flexible pipes, in particular API17J, API17L1,API17B, and API17K.
 Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or otherrelated Engineering discipline.
 Demonstrable experience with flexible pipes from preliminaryengineering through detailed design.
 Proficient usage of Microsoft Office Software.
 Basic knowledge of AutoCad.
 Knowledge of Mechanical Finite Analysis software (i.e. Ansys,Abaqus, Cosmosworks).
 Knowledge of Dynamic analysis software (i.e. Orcaflex).
