Our customer maintains an ongoing research and development (R&D) effort focused on exploring and innovating technologies that advance state-of-the-art ground-based, electro-optical space situational awareness, optical imaging, advanced space tracking, and space object characterization capabilities. This contract will fulfill our client's commitments to operational customers and to develop improved, innovative, and enhanced capabilities that advance the state-of-the-art and better meet the near-term needs of these customers.
This position will be physically based in Kihei, HI.
Required Q ualifications:
Experience in technical, scientific, or managerial fields providing problem definition, analysis, requirements development and implementation for complex to extremely complex technologies or technological systems.
Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research and analysis in difficult technological problem areas of considerable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches and sophisticated research techniques.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in electronic design and computer control of hardware
Proficiency in C , Python, Java and/or other modern software languages
Proficiency in digital signal processing
Familiarity of assembly language programming , HDL, and/or control system
Demonstrated experience with designing, building, and operating electronics and computer systems.
Familiarity with the USAF and US Space Force (USSF) space control/space domain awareness mission area
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in delivering innovative solutions derived from USAF and USSF mission requirements.
Master's degree in computer , software, or electrical engineering
