Job Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Engineer - Wireless sought by DISH Wireless, LLC in Littleton, CO.

Lead the solution design and translate the 5G IP network requirements into technical tracks (conceptualize, plan, Implementation Strategy, LLD/HLD). Creatively advocate current and new technologies solutions relevant to Dish 5G next generation network. Conduct technical presentations, showcase solutions, set up demonstrations, and explain features and benefits of the solutions architecture in the areas of routing, switching, automation/orchestration, assurance, virtualization, SDN, Optical, Data Center and Security.

Job Requirements:

Position requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or similar role.

Also requires 5 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

• Routing

• Switching

• Access

• Automation

• Data Center Technologies

• Service Provider Architecture to keep products updated

• 4G/5G network design

• Development, operations, or support of a cloud production service

• Development, operations, or support of a cloud production service

• Software defined networking and programmability

And 1 year of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

• Orchestration

Domestic travel: up to 5% of time to Dish's Herndon, VA office or vendor location is required.

Rate of pay: $159,598.00
