Job Summary

Member of team responsible for modeling development for high-performance semiconductor technology. This position will work closely with modeling engineers and CAD to support internal design groups and external foundry customers with model extraction flow development and data analysis. The role will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance to design teams in their area of expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Methodology development for complex model extractions

  • Detail analytical analysis of characterization data to investigate non-classical behavior

  • Provide required equipment specifications for advanced measurement system configuration

  • Statistical model development and analysis

  • Model implementation and flow development for multiple EDA platforms

  • Provide technical leadership, insight, mentoring, and support to the design community, modeling team, and technology team

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • 3 years of relevant experience

  • 1 years of demonstrated technical leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to develop RF and large signal model extraction flow

  • Familiarity with measurement system for advanced characterization (noise, RF, load-pull, NF, etc.)

  • Experience developing a design of experiment for model extraction

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics

  • Understanding of the interaction between semiconductor manufacturing and device performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of RF device physics, measurements, and extraction

  • Experience with physics and measurement based custom model extraction

  • Detailed knowledge of advanced modeling (i.e. noise, RF, large signal, thermal, etc.)

  • Background or understanding of electromagnetic theory

  • Basic understanding of RFIC design

  • Experience in wide range of semiconductor technologies

Education Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)

These important initiatives are entrepreneurial by nature, as they may require novel go-to-market strategies and new technologies. Each member of this team will play a critical role in helping the New Markets organization first explore then realize the significant potential that exists within these exciting new opportunities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * As a dedicated member of the New Markets organization, the Commercial Liaison will: * Evaluate market, commercial, regulatory, & technical opportunities/challenges to identify barriers to and points of entry for Dexcom product(s) in original applications and new markets. * Explore shortcoming(s) of current solutions and growing demand for sensing and monitoring technologies in populations and/or environments beyond day-to-day support for traditionally managed Type I or Type II diabetic individuals. * Engage with commercial organization, marketing teams, and customers to translate needs into technical requirements for early research, product development, and beyond. * Support product manager(s) in development of new glucose management product(s) * Cooperate with leaders on prototyping, proving out, and establishing methods for how to best develop new products for new markets/applications via teams both internal and external to Dexcom. * Engage with program managers, product managers, system engineers, and component engineers to assist with definition of scope and timelines while maintaining quality of work product. * Collaborate with critical stakeholders in product lifecycle (exploration, development, approval, and launch) to provide continuous market insight and technical support. * Stay informed of all interdependencies and coordination between the various product development efforts, influencing and providing recommendations when such efforts are faced with barriers or key decisions points. * Provide input regarding resourcing and budgeting needs as they develop and assist with securing additional funding and personnel. * Apply learnings and best practices for above activities to other verticals/segments within New Markets in support of the creation of parallel technical teams within those areas, as needed.
