Role Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to support our analytic product development efforts in the Analytic and Application Engineering group. This position will be responsible for ITO/OTR/NPI and sustaining of BN's analytic products.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Senior Engineer Analytics, you will:

Interface with technology, commercial, and services teams about current and future product needs

Interface with field services to train, deploy, and sustain, analytic products

Measure the effectiveness of product and utilize this to determine improvements during the sustaining process

Assist the data science team to format testing data sets for specific machine behaviors

Assist with beta testing of new products

Assist with identifying critical features / gaps that would solve customer problems in current and future products

Mentor and train other engineers as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university

Minimum 5 years of experience with tools to develop and package deterministic and machine learning based analytic products

Desired Characteristics:

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university desired

Minimum 4 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer

Understanding of common Oil & Gas / Power Gen machines and the associated processes

Experience with MatLab or equivalent

Experience with teaching and/or training Analytics (SPB)

Published white papers on Analytics (SPB)

Solid oral presentation and writing skills

Ability to continue complicated jobs to completion in a timely manner

Ability to identify and drive process improvements

Demonstrated skills in problem solving

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
