Senior Engagement Manager

The Engagement Manager plays a critical role in ensuring overall growth and success for Cohesity customers and plays an essential role in growing our practice. This role is responsible for our bidding process of large, complex proposals from architectural blueprints for services solutions to processes and deployment/integration consulting; a key to overall customer satisfaction. This position is an integral part of the sales cycle, collaborating with the Account teams to expand the content and depth of Cohesity services Additionally this role provides oversight of implementations to mitigate risk. The successful person has a track record of success, engaging with our customers, providing options to improve best practices while maintaining the highest quality customer service.

Specific Job Duties

Manage the bid submission process from initial contact through contract signature.

Provide both programmatic and day to day updates to RFP language

Validates with architects/consultants the technical solution's validity

Able to work in a co-sell model with account teams

Strong balance of collaborative and self-starter mentality; able to own your business while also working well the teams

Has ownership of our customers' Services journey from pre-sales to in production

Customer facing role with working knowledge of enterprise customers

Able to act as a subject-matter expert on Cohesity solutions

Capture new features requirements to expand sales opportunities

Participate in the development of Cohesity Professional Services practice

Travel Requirement to supported customer's headquarters when necessary (up to 50% travel).

Minimum Qualifications Required

BS/BA or equivalent experience 5+ years proven experience scoping and selling professional services

Self starter who achieves results and collaborates

Exceptional organizational and planning skills

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to work effectively with a diverse community with a focus on rapport building.

Proven track record of scoping and winning services in an enterprise environment.

Extensive working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating professional services offers including curricula, and methodology.

Ability to effectively work in a highly ambiguous environment and within cross-functional teams across the organization and handle objections

Supervise administrative staff. Work Performed Plan departmental budget needs by analyzing program plans on both a short and long term basis including projecting possible levels of support from multiple sources of funding; confer with administration and faculty to analyze and recommend priorities and goals for future department needs. Determine fiscal requirements, make projections and prepare overall departmental budgets; prepare financial statements reflecting status of programs and activities; ensure compliance with University policies and procedures. Maintain interface with departmental personnel to coordinate operational activities to ensure adequate manning, space and facilities; direct the planning and coordination of purchasing, maintenance, construction and renovation activities for the department; administer a program of property management and accountability. Maintain liaison with all level of administration, faculty and outside organizations to coordinate departmental business, accomplish directives and facilitate the resolution of problems.
