We are looking for innovation, engineers who can perform challenging, interesting and dynamic Engineering work as a member of the BCA Airplane Systems Team which supports Research and technology Development, all Boeing models both in development and in airline service.

You will join Environmental Controls Systems (ECS) Engineering and will be responsible to support the research activities of the organization in the Model-Based Engineering domain, with emphasis in Systems controls. Your responsibilities would involve product development in the field of Electro Mechanical systems with emphasis in Environmental Control Systems.

Required Experience, Skills and

Qualifications:
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics is required.
Desired Experience, Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Strong background (10+ years) in digital control of Electro Mechanical systems is a strong plus

  • Modeling and Simulation of Electronic/Electrical Systems

  • Experience in Systems Engineering

  • Experience in Software Engineering/Software Architecture.

  • Matlab/Simulink, C++, SVN, Linux, Scrum and Agile are a strong plus

  • Knowledge in airplane systems beyond Environmental Controls Systems is a strong plus

  • Have good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Fit well within a team and be willing to expand into technical areas without prior experience

Typical Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master'swith 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years'experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from anaccredited course of study, in engineering, computer science,mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although notrequired, accreditation standard.
