Hughes Network Systems in Las Vegas is seeking to hire a Senior Electrician.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work safely in accordance to OSHA, NFPA, and NEC rules and regulations

  • Communicate professionally with the customers, co-workers and management team

  • Perform tasks, scheduled assignments, and troubleshoot to ensure that the following electrical systems are properly maintained and functional

  • 120v - 480v Electrical Systems

  • 120/208 - 277/480v Electrical Panels

  • Complete service repairs, replacements, upgrades, and adjustments on electrical systems and components following issued tasking, maintenance, troubleshooting and installation instructions.


  • Must hold a valid Journeyman or Master electrical license.

  • Ability to respond to emergency calls as directed, during the day, at night and on weekends when on call.

  • Drug free and able to pass a background check

  • Good driving record

  • Minimum 10 yr. commercial electrical experience with installing electrical conduit, MC, and BX

  • 5+ years' Experience in working in Mission Critical Areas

  • 5+ years' Experience with working with UPS and Generator Systems

  • Ability to travel to Gateway locations to perform electrical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities The Senior Financial Planner and Analyst provides planning and financial analytic support and influences business decisions via a variety of financial, economic, and statistical analyses. Analysis * Provide support and analytics as required. Analytics could include but are not limited to sales: price, volume mix, cost: price, volume, usage, capital investment returns and payback, supply chain related analytics, variable, fixed, last increment costs analytics, production or supply chain impact analytics, etc * Analyze and interpret company and industry trends and financial information, including sales metrics, cost metrics, rates of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments Reporting * Reporting could include but are not limited to: * P&L and Balance Sheet actual performance versus budget and forecasts * Standard costing, profitability, scorecards, mill or business KPI's * Trend reporting and analysis on key data Budgeting/Forecasting/Planning * Provide support to the strategic business planning process * Provide support and lead certain aspects of the budgeting process * Assist and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts related to revenue, operating costs, freight, and other supply chain costs Qualifications Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related discipline required * Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, marketing, distribution, operations and financial analysis required * Greater than 5 years of industrial operations experience desired Skills/Abilities: * Must be able to work independently and exert influence on short & long-range goals and objectives * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of management, to motivate others and sell ideas * Excellent presentation skills required * Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
