Role Overview:

As an Electrical Engineer IV, you will apply your design knowledge and expertise to create final construction drawings for the owner, supporting them throughout the construction process. You will also act as a mentor to less experienced engineers and CAD drafters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and timely produce electrical design elements that meet project specifications and parameters.
• Create construction electrical documents suitable for permitting, based on project specifics.
• Actively participate in post-design activities, from punch lists to construction completion.
• Ensure the quality of electrical design adheres to established standards.
• Effectively manage project timelines and communication between the design team and the client.
• Provide timely consultation on projects to manage schedules, deadlines, site surveys, punch lists, building codes, and standards.
• Produce accurate and complete engineering project specifications within project parameters.
• Timely bill projects to the accounting department.
• Adhere to established work rules, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve processes, create efficiencies, and reduce costs.
• Assist in preparing other project-related documents with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Willingly take on additional duties, roles, or responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Demonstrated understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings.
• Knowledge of engineering drafting standards.
• Expert knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and other trades.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EIT and/or PE certification.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel is anticipated between 0-10%.
