WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Duluth, GA. This position is responsible for creation of designs and documentation for electrical controls panels that we are integrating to customer specifications.

In this role you will be reviewing technical product specifications and creating designs that include relay/control logic, electrical power, and mechanical design. This position is also responsible for the creation of schematics, bills of materials and assembly drawings as well as providing assistance and technical support to related teams.

Most qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent and have 5+ years of industry work experience. Must be familiar with 3-phase and single phase power design and have a solid understanding of manufacturing process.

Advanced AutoCAD knowledge and VFD and Soft Starters principles are required. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of BOM System and Material Management. Strong knowledge of Industrial Standards, such as UL 508A, NEC and NEMA required. Must possess strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
