Description:Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin's lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. with analog and power electronics experience to support an advanced radar system program.

The successful candidate will support the lead Electrical Engineer with electrical system block diagram updates, harness design, schematic development, power load analysis, power distribution, EMI and EMC performance impact assessment, harness component review and selection, ICD development, supplier management, and support harness routing.

Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Must possess strong general electrical engineering knowledge

  • Experience in electronic system and subsystem design and test.

  • Excellent communications skills to interface with subordinates, peers, supervisors, subcontractors, and customers

  • Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to perform requirements definition, design trades, interface definitions, development estimating and tasking

  • Strong electronic systems integration testing and excellent troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with Analog circuit design, power electronics, EMI/EMC.

  • Cadence schematic capture

  • Pulse Doppler radar systems experience
