We are looking for a Senior EKG Techician with Cardiology Department at St. Jude Medical Center.
Location: Fullerton, CA
Schedule: On Call / Per Diem
Shift: 8 Hour Day Shift
Works with minimal supervision performing treadmill, stress tests, Holter hook up and scanning, 12-lead electrocardiogram on neonate, pediatric and adult and other forms of treadmill or monitoring related stress tests. Responsible for education and training of staff and students.
Good working knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias.
Ability to type.
Computer skills to include keyboard data entry.
Telephone and filing skills.
Ability to read, to write, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Education: H.S. Diploma or GED
License and Certificate:
American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider level.
Arrhythmia certification (aka Cardiac Monitoring).
Preferred Position Requirements:
Experience: 2 years Acute hospital experience performing electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, Holter monitors, or educational equivalent.
