As a Senior Editor serving as a society journal publishing manager in our Social Sciences and Humanities program, you'll manage and develop society owned journals, helping a diverse group of publishing partners and their communities to make a difference in the world.
Working collaboratively with smart, friendly and highly skilled colleagues across our global organization, you will enjoy unrivalled scope to further develop your skills in communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship building. You will have strong industry knowledge and be up to date on the latest trends. You will have proven experience of working in publishing, or in academic research, with a flair for building productive relationships.

Core responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with external partners
Taking responsibility for successful renewal or renegotiation of contracts within your portfolio
Managing financial performance of your list, including price-setting, budgeting and expenditure decisions
Develop strategic plans, host and attend editorial board and society meetings, present on our capabilities and journal performance
Assist with new business development, where appropriate.
