Senior Distribution Specialist
The Senior Distribution Specialist performs a variety of activities with the objective of supporting the department to perform efficiently and effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Print payroll checks and reports according to standard departmental procedures.*
Print other customer (internal and external) requested jobs on an as needed basis.*
Inspect printed payroll checks, sort, package, stuff, bundle and meter as required for pickup or delivery.*
Separate and sort client payroll.
Train Specialist level associates on "Advanced" processes.
Distribution Inbox, Paycor Main, Print Queue, Etc.
Exercise judgment to solve for problems regarding daily production metrics (shipping deadlines, quality, etc.).
Perform variety of "Moderately" difficult assignments.
Influence and guide other team members to ensure department goals and procedures are upheld.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure client service procedures are upheld.
Reviewing Client Setups, Confirming Additional Runs, Etc.
Have regular attendance and flexibility to work extended hours on an as-needed basis, often on short notice. Hours vary depending upon daily workload.*
Ability to communicate orally with supervisor and other team members regarding questions or problems that may occur.*
Ability to understand departmental processes and be accountable for departmental work.*
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Demonstrated ability to read, understand and accurately follow detailed directions on printed materials.
Maintains "Specialized" knowledge of distribution tasks.
Quarter End, Year End, Daily Payroll Volume.
Ability to work individually with little supervision on daily assignments.
4 - 6 years of experience.
Detailed knowledge of distribution practices and procedures.
Working understanding of PC operations including understanding of Distribution software, hardware, Windows, etc.
Ability to meet and exceed departmental deadlines.
Proven record of initiative regarding workload and departmental processes.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and to walk, reach, stand, stoop and bend on a regular basis throughout the workday.
Must have high school diploma or GED.
