As the Senior Director/Director of Interoperability, you will lead efforts to enable seamless integration and compatibility across diverse solutions ecosystems, facilitating the flow of data across technological boundaries to enhance provider and partner experiences. Your mission is to drive the interoperability strategy, ensuring that our products and platforms can effectively communicate and exchange data with external systems, ultimately improving operational efficiency and driving better patient outcomes.

Let's talk about the role:

  • Technical Guidance and Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure that interoperability solutions meet industry standards and customer needs. Oversee both externally facing and internally-focused interoperability strategies across all product lines.

  • Collaborative Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to define interoperability requirements and drive profitability, viability, and scalability of the product portfolio.

  • Product Velocity Leadership: Represent the company as a thought leader in Data Sharing and Interoperability. Drive product velocity through a clear strategy, collaboration, and iterative processes, optimizing resources, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Strategic Interoperability Alignment: Develop and implement an interoperability strategy that aligns with the organization's overall mission and goals, fostering a culture of interoperability excellence.

  • Change Management Proficiency: Navigate organizational change and evolution, embedding new operating models while ensuring effective team buy-in.

  • Stakeholder Partnerships and Governance: Partner with various departments to ensure establish interoperability best practices, governance frameworks, quality assurance processes and drive successful product development, launch, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Cross-Functional Initiative Leadership: Lead cross-functional initiatives to address interoperability challenges and optimize data exchange workflows across the organization. Engage with customers, prospects, and stakeholders to drive product success and thought leadership.

  • Market Trends Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in healthcare interoperability, leveraging insights to inform organizational strategy and product development.

  • Ecosystem Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with the ecosystem, including engineering, commercial teams, and partners.

  • Product Vision Communication: Effectively communicate the product vision to customers and partners, facilitating the onboarding of early adopters.

  • 7-10 years relevant experience in a similar role

  • Interoperability Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of interoperability standards, protocols, and best practices across healthcare IT systems, including HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE.

  • Strategic Interoperability Roadmap Development: Capable of developing and executing a strategic interoperability roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and market trends, delivering value for providers and partners.

  • Empowerment and Collaboration: Able to empower individuals and teams to spark enthusiasm, foster collaboration, maximize potential, and achieve exceptional results.

  • Interoperability Solution Design Proficiency: Proficient in designing and implementing interoperability solutions, with a strong grasp of data integration technologies, API development, and cloud-based architectures.

  • Curiosity and Change Leadership: Highly curious, collaborative, and capable of driving change at pace. Passionate about ResMed and its products. Demonstrates a growth mindset, balancing risk versus reward effectively.

This position qualifies for the following benefits package: comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance, sleep care management, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), commuter benefits, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and tuition assistance. Employees accrue three weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) in their first year of employment, receive 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position:

$211,000 - $317,000
