Position Mission:

We are looking for a Senior Director, Talent Acquisition to join our team in Bloomington, MN. You will be responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Talent Acquisition for our fast growing organization. The recruiting teams you will lead encompass hourly to executive level hiring: all corporate roles, as well as field sales. If you see recruiting through a sales lens, and love being the casting director and face of an organization, this may be for you! The goal is to build a TA culture centered on enabling technology and top notch talent selection processes. You will report to the Chief HR Officer, and have management responsibility for a strong team of Talent Acquisition professionals. You will be walking into an environment where there are great relationships with the senior business leaders. Responsibilities may include:

  • Continuously improve processes that support a strong candidate experience

  • Directs national recruiting plan, integrating overall company needs using traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing creative and innovative recruiting ideas and associated tools.

  • Directs the corporate branding function for recruiting efforts both externally and internally

  • Directs recruitment strategy, ensuring diversification and company culture fit are considered and promoted within the recruitment process.

  • Consults regularly with appropriate HR departments and the business leaders in the selection of internal and external candidates.

  • Partners with leader of Talent Development to ensure an integrated approach to assessment and building talent pipeline for the company.

  • Effectively motivates, develops and coaches the TA leaders and team members as a whole, in order to reach department goals.

  • Thought leadership in seeking out new recruiting partnerships in addition to maintaining the traditional sources (ie. high schools, colleges, associations and local, regional and national companies)

  • Provides leadership in the development and ongoing efforts of college recruiting, management trainee and internship programs.

  • Manages the company's relocation program including vendor selection, contract negotiation and effective tracking and reporting of expenses.

  • Supports an effective on-boarding process for the corporate new hire orientation program and ensures consistency when appropriate at other site locations.

  • Ensures adherence to all federal, state and local regulations governing the employment process.

  • Ensures hiring promotions and job change practices are within company policy and AA/EEO guidelines.

  • Assists in staffing related compliance audits as required.


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred

Years of Experience: 15+ years related experience, to include companies with large geographically disbursed employee populations


  • Passionate about developing and motivating people and teams

  • Strong knowledge of social media strategy; understanding technology and how it impacts Talent Acquisition.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills;

  • Demonstrated expertise developing and managing employment/recruiting and related programs related to staffing, diversity, relocation, AA/EEO etc;

  • Experienced in leading Executive level recruiting

  • Solid understanding of all regulatory aspects of staffing programs;

  • Experienced in addressing challenges of high volume and field / front line recruiting preferred.

  • Exposure to college recruiting as a means to build a company's talent pipeline.

  • Strategic relationship builder with ability to influence across a matrixed organization.

  • Experience implementing assessment tools preferred.
