Senior Director, Seating (North America)

Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Seating (North America) oversees both commercial and engineering activities within our North American Seats Business. This role demands a strategic thinker capable of driving growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a keen focus on financial performance. The incumbent will lead a multifaceted team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to the Seating Business, fostering employee engagement, empowerment, and a sense of purpose.

• Mentor, coach, and develop direct reports and team members to cultivate a high-performing workforce.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business operations, reinforce positive morale, and uphold organizational values.

• Ensure adherence to operational, administrative, and regulatory requirements, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proactively identify and address issues, remove barriers, and escalate concerns as necessary to ensure seamless operations.

• Develop and execute product strategies aligned with corporate objectives, driving customer satisfaction and market expansion.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key and prospective customers, supporting business stability and growth.

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on business performance, KPIs, and metrics to executive leadership.

• Maintain technical oversight of the Seating Business to drive continuous improvement and prevent product issues.

• Leverage market segment knowledge and data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and support business objectives.

• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and synergy across the Seating Business.

• Monitor and optimize financial performance, supporting budgetary goals, profitability, and overall growth.

• Lead the execution of new product launches, ensuring alignment with customer and internal milestones.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
