The Senior Director of Revenue Operations will work alongside the Senior Vice President of Sales Operations to drive sales and operational excellence across EVERFI's four business units. Our ideal Senior Director will be both strategically minded and operationally focused in order to architect and improve upon key business processes and evolve our systems and infrastructure needed to support growth.

Primary Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Team Management

  • Lead a team of sales operations members while also contributing individually to the business

  • Process Architecture, Standardization, Improvement & Oversight

  • Maintain executive-level relationships across the company; ensure complete understanding of all processes necessary for each business vertical to conduct sales; develop standardization -- find commonalities and drive consistency across verticals to enable company-wide KPI capture

  • Lead and architect process flow of all order-to-cash operations in Salesforce. Document, train and ensure adherence by sales; proactively identify where there are gaps in process and react quickly to improve.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives collaborating with IT, Sales, Channels, Marketing and Finance. Collaborate regularly with finance to drive data quality initiatives ensuring that all sales order data is clean and accurate

  • Lead sales process improvement including partnering with sales leadership and AEs to ensure sales process is followed; implement exception reporting and other necessary evaluations to ensure adherence to the sales process

  • Key Performance Indicators & Business Insights

  • Refine key performance metrics and dashboards to provide visibility to sales leadership; regularly provide key business insights and recommendations for improvement to executives

  • Regularly lead contributions to executive level presentations and data requests

  • Tools & Enablement Operations

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage all sales tools and technologies complementary to our CRM (Salesforce)

  • Drive special projects that aim to improve data quality, replace manual reporting through automation

Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years experience in Sales Operations leadership and management

  • Excellent analytical, business intelligence and project management skills

  • Expertise in Salesforce and the Salesforce ecosystem and other sales related software and tools

  • Hands-on knowledge of, Xactly, CPQ solutions

  • Demonstrated focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable business insights and compelling presentations

  • Proven leadership and facilitation of cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with IT, Finance, Marketing

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communications skills, particularly to senior executives

  • BS or BA degree required, MBA is a plus

REPORTS TO: General Manager ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield operations. * Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting. * Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends. * Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel. * Provide forecasts of expected results, variances and budget comparisons. * Manage and oversee strategy for all third party distribution. * Responsible for assessing, analyzing and pricing group business strategies. * Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies. * Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity. * Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional. * Work in liaison with hotel sales and departments as a team. * Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; market modeling; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts. * Reduce the cost of distribution by finding new less expensive means of delivering business. * Prepare outline, support, and participate in the annual revenue budget process. * Advice and coach the client in other operational areas. * Visit the hotels to get first-hand knowledge of all revenue management issues and other key areas. * Any other reasonable requests made by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years' experience in hotel revenue management. A strong command of both written and spoken English is required. Highly computer literate with a high level command of Excel. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Brand experience helpful. Knowledgeable of hotel applications related to revenue management. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Analytical and technical skill required. Working knowledge of reservations, front office, and Microsoft Office Suite to take full advantage of the revenue opportunities. Forecasting and creative revenue management abilities needed. Yield management skill required to evaluate business trends and communicate to properties the recommendations needed to take full advantage of revenue maximization.
