The Global Revenue Enablement team is dedicated to empowering our revenue teams with innovative enablement that maximizes effectiveness and drive organizational impact.

About the Role

Workday's VP of Global Revenue Enablement is looking to hire an experienced leader with business operations, communications and strategy experience to work alongside her to drive forward flawless execution and key organizational initiatives within Workday's 80 person Global Revenue Enablement organization. This team sits at the CENTER of Workday's revenue enablement engine, working across Global Revenue, Customer Experience, Product & Technology, and Business Operations.

In this role, you will lead a team committed to driving enablement strategy and operations, extending the effectiveness of the leader and the organization by creating streamlined processes, communicating consistently, building trust across the organization, prioritizing areas for investment, and assisting key leaders in achieving focus within their teams. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, both, within the organization and across business functions.

Responsibilities:

Operations Management & Process Optimization:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for critical Corporate Functions including People & Purpose (HR), Talent Acquisition (Recruiting), Finance, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development (M&A), etc.

  • Support executive reporting on KPIs, key risks, issues, and budget.

  • Drive and own adoption and execution of Enablement Portfolio Management systems (Smartsheets) and processes, facilitating agile and efficient prioritization, as well as resource and capacity planning.

  • Find opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing organizational systems and processes to support growth and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on agility.

Special Initiatives & Strategy Projects:

  • Help set and lead strategy for Global Revenue Enablement organization and support VP in defining, articulating, and adjusting strategy in accordance with company-wide objectives.

  • Help drive coordination and collaboration of the content strategy and execution plan for SKO.

  • Conduct research for key projects such as Role and Career Framework.

  • Advise leaders and key partner teams on overall enablement strategy direction, presentations and initiatives.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate and run key meetings including Staff meetings, Leadership Offsites, Town Halls, etc.

  • Establish and own internal communications strategy within the organization and across Workday.

  • Cultivate close relationships with our partner organizations, and gain the trust of senior stakeholders across Global Revenue, as well as the Product & Technology, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Business Operations organizations to align objectives and work optimally together.

  • Support VP with preparation and presentations for key internal and external meetings.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture by promoting transparency and open communication.

Trusted Advisor

  • Partner with VP on key organizational changes, leadership alignment, and process improvements in order to ensure vision and strategy are enabled.

  • Serve as representative for leader in various meetings, and forums as appropriate.

  • Advise on confidential matters and maintain a high level of discretion.

  • Provide insightful recommendations and alternatives to support the VP in evaluating opportunities and risks

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in revenue enablement/operations, sales management/strategy, business operations, strategy, consulting, or equivalent.

  • 8+ years experience in an enterprise SaaS environment, in particular field sales (or similar) experience or experience working closely with revenue generating teams.

Other Qualifications:

  • Significant, demonstrated experience in a go-to-market function, in particular operational experience working within or across a revenue organization.

  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining operational systems of record.

  • Ability to design and implement operational processes for scale and efficiency.

  • Ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced team, including highly technical topics.

  • Ability to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously, professionally, and compassionately.

  • Utterly organized and meticulous with a love for simplifying complexity; able to dig into the details while also seeing the big picture.

  • Intellectual curiosity paired with a high growth-mindset.

  • Strong influencing skills, with a reputation for getting things done effectively.

  • BA, BS, or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including Executive-level presence and gravitas.

  • Superb people and leadership skills and ability to interact with peers, senior Executives, cross-functional stakeholders, and external third parties.

  • Strong strategic mindset, with ability to help set direction and outline key outcomes.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $226,800 USD - $340,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $205,200 USD - $346,400 USD
