Job Description

Fueled by growth in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and autonomous vehicles, our Performance Computing Power Business Division is one of our fastest-growing businesses, and it is expected to remain so in the coming years. To support this rapidly growing business, Renesas is creating a new position, the Vice President of Execution, Operations, and Strategy, to accelerate organizational scaling, improving NPI execution, driving operational excellence, and expanding our strategic field of view. This position can be in any of our main offices in the central or western US.

Travel on average 25% with periods up 50% depending on location

Ideally on MT or PT time zone)-Hybrid work setting

City: Austin, TX / Dallas, TX / Phoenix, AZ

  • Execution Quality: deliver a step-function increase in consistency and predictability in NPI execution, and standardizing processes, tools, and systems supporting execution.

  • Organizational Consistency: defines and globally deploys standardized NPI and business processes, metrics, and review processes across global teams and sites.

  • Operational Excellence: create and deploy scalable business planning processes, such as demand forecasting, revenue forecasting, supply planning, supply strategy, inventory governance and KPIs/metrics around these processes.

  • Strategy: Deliver integrated and cohesive strategic plans at the division level, integrating across product lines and product portfolios. Identify M&A opportunities and facilitate the diligence process.

  • A senior leader (Sr Dir or VP) in semiconductor general management, operations management, or program management who is intimately familiar with semiconductor product development processes and full lifecycle processes.

  • Strong in operational and execution functions - process and planning are second nature to you, and you love to create order and scalable systems at high velocity

  • Motivated by consistency, predictability, and can create systems and processes to deliver those, and you bring others along with you in the process

  • Excel in managing complexity, optimizing work processes and collaborating with others to do it

  • Comfortable with directional guidance, able to manage ambiguity and operate effectively even with uncertainty or when the way forward is unclear.

  • Able to consistently achieve results, even when difficult, and you have a track record of exceeding your goals.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering; MBA or MS a plus.

  • Requires 15 plus years of professional experience in semiconductor business management or operational roles
