Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Senior Director of Museum and Heritage will join the Walmart Corporate Real Estate team and direct all activities related to the museum and archives. They will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that align with the Walmart's mission and vision. The Senior Director of Museum and Heritage is a critical role that requires a strategic leader with a strong history and passion for Walmart's history and culture and is committed to the preservation and promotion of its collective heritage.

What you'll do...

  • Develop and implement cultural and historical exhibits that highlight Walmart's core values and its deep history of service to customers and commitment to associates.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including key leaders from Walmart, the Walton family, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.

  • Promote the museum and its programs locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally through various channels.

  • Represent the museum and heritage teams at company events to highlight Walmart's proud culture.

  • Strategically engage community stakeholders, representing Walmart and teaching our values and culture.

  • Coordinate event participation, with particular focus on Northwest Arkansas.

  • Serve as a resource and expert on Walmart heritage for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Possess strong presentation, communications, and media skills to act as a spokesperson for Walmart culture.

  • Develop and lead the Walmart Alumni program and set strategy for Oral Histories and artifact donations.

  • Develop and integrate campus and heritage and touring program to highlight Walmart's proud past and bright future.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 6 years' experience in program management, operations, or related field OR 8 years' experience

in program management, operations, or related field.

4 years' supervisory experience.

5 years' experience leading cross-functional project teams.
