Responsibilities

Reporting to the SVP, Chief Marketing Officer this role will understand how to partner with design and development and successfully drive consumer change.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive business plans including strategy, business case, marketing and budgets for brands

  • Adopt a consumer-centric approach to product planning by identifying, analyzing and prioritizing user/segment needs

  • Collaborate with Product Management to refine the product value proposition and positioning

  • Create and execute strategies and marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, product adoption and market leadership

  • Lead the go-to-market strategies for dynamic product initiatives that span across multiple areas of the viewer-experience

  • Partner with Consumer Insights to better understand our customers and industry, including competitive information to drive appropriate messaging and competitive positioning as well as insights that contribute to long-term product planning

  • Partner with analytics and finance to build annual product P&L

  • Establish KPIs for product launches and rollouts in alignment with product leads

  • Enable ongoing connectivity between Product teams and other key stakeholders

  • Key KPIs/Measurement: NPS, revenue, penetration etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years' Product Marketing experience

  • Hands on experience working along side a development (physical or digital) product team

  • Solid understanding of consumer needs, competitive landscape

  • Superior communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally internally and externally with business associates and clients

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects

  • Proven leader with a positive attitude, interpersonal skills who thrives in a collaborative work environment

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams to develop consensus within diverse groups and drive results

  • Strong client orientation and consultative approach combined with a proven record of excellent program/project management and stakeholder management

Closely partner and consult with R&D, founder, clinic, and senior leadership. * Ensure robust pipeline to deliver growth targets. Accountable for driving product innovation strategy, core franchise evolution, and leading development of 3-year product pipeline in close collaboration with R&D to deliver commercial and financial targets. * Lead innovative product development and pipeline strategy by leveraging insights and analytics in support of brands global strategy, brand priorities and growth priorities. * Responsible for articulating product positioning, developing concepts, target benefits, and naming convention to deliver on brand strategy. * Oversee strategic portfolio strategy and pacing in conjunction with senior leadership, delivering mix of new, core renovation, claims and remarkable packaging ideas all anchored in brand strategy. * Deliver all launches on time to maximize commercial impact and hit financial targets. * Lead innovation story for sell-in and present innovation at customer meetings. * Help drive margins and profitability of product innovation. * Develop strategic new customer acquisition strategies (e.g. samples, trial and sets). * Continue to monitor trends and developments in industry, with a close eye on sustainability and ingredients. * Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organization to achieve company goals and priorities. Work closely with key internal teams including but not limited to R&D, Clinic, Commercial team, PR, Planning, Operations, Creative, Education, Finance, Legal, Regulatory. * Responsible for global positioning of new products and global claims strategy. * Reports to the CMO and part of marketing leadership team. Skills, Experience and Education Required * Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study. MBA strongly preferred. * Minimum 5+ years product innovation and marketing experience in skincare. Innovation experience in skincare mandatory. Global marketing experience preferred. * Demonstrated experience overseeing end-to-end product launch process. * Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to retailers. * Strategic thinker who also maintains strong attention to detail and delivers with excellence. * Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills. Experience managing P&L. * Exceptional team-building skills with demonstrated success developing, managing and leading highly effective teams in agile environments. * Strong relationship builder playing critical role collaborating with founder, Clinic, and R&D leadership to bring to life new product ideas. * Ability to execute under accelerated time frames and quickly adapts to change in priorities. * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build successful relationships with internal and external teams * Self-motivated and flexible; ability to adapt quickly to change. * Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
